Project Key Highlights & Takeaways:
Supporting the University of Washington Libraries with their recently launched “Open Scholarship Commons” initiative has been one of the most versatile roles I’ve taken on in my entire career.
From planning and facilitating podcasting workshops to performing usability research and designing space signage to filming and directing a mini-documentary about the program, I’ve had the opportunity to hone nearly every skill in the multimedia portfolio.
In March 2023, I was awarded the UW Libraries Student Employee Endowed scholarship for my contributions, and my essay was featured on the Spotlight section of the UW Libraries newsletter.
My stint at the UW Libraries gave me ample experience in seamlessly switching between different roles and skills and also understanding how they relate to one another.
Featured in the UW Libraries newsletter for Husky Giving Day on April 6th, 2023.
